Lilli Freischem learned to row at Edinburgh University, and has rowed in Osiris twice. This will be her first Boat Race in the Blue Boat. She is a PhD student in Atmospheric Physics studying climate models. “What I love most about rowing are the friends you make by getting up at 5am together.”

President Annie Anezakis, 2x Blue (2022, 2024). Born in Melbourne, Australia, Annie was Blue Boat stroke in 2024, a Blue in 2022, and is studying Postgraduate Medicine. She’s in her second year. She previously attended Princeton University in the United States.

Kyra Delray has been rowing since she was 13 and has come through the GB junior and U23 ranks, winning international medals along the way. She learned to row at Nottingham RC and is studying a PhD in Health Data Science.

Heidi Long, British bronze medallist in Paris 2024, learned to row at Marlow Rowing Club and between the Olympic Games and starting her course at Oxford, only did a triathlon as well. Studying an MSc in health. She shares a birthday with Claire Collins, Cambridge 6-seat.

Daniel Orton, who has been given the cox’s seat in his first Boat Race campaign, displacing last year’s women’s Blue Boat cox. A Tideway native, he has coxed his school on the Championship Course and is studying Physics.
