About Freya Jenkinson
Where did you learn to row and who was your first coach?
For coxing, Selwyn College Boat Club - Kathryn Dodds and Maria Stroyakovski. I had learnt to row when I was about 14 at a small rowing club in Taunton.
What inspires you about sport?
I love the competitive aspect of sport, and coxing allows me to get right to the forefront of it.
Explain your earliest memory of The Boat Race
I can remember watching The Boat Race 2012 on TV, a memorable one with a restart and broken blade!
What's the secret to managing elite-level sport with studying at one of the top universities in the world?
Organisation (multiple calendars in my case).
