Why did you choose History?

I think we can learn a lot from the past, particularly in this country which has such a rich and varied history! I love reading old books (they small amazing!)

Why did you first try rowing?

I went to the sports fair at school in my 4th year and the basketball coach threw a ball at me without warning. I dropped it, so he told me to join the rowing club!

Who introduced you to the sport of rowing?

In a way I think my dad was my first coach. He put me on an erg and told me to pull. Ha ha! at At school (Latymer Upper)

Where else have you rowed?

Cambridge and Girton

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

Winning the lightweight boat race 2022

Do you have a favourite Boat Race? Which one and why?

It’s a rogue one but 2006 (it’s the first one I can remember).
Also 2015 – so great to see the women race on the Tideway for the first time!

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

Everything
