Why did you choose MPhil Global and Area Studies?

My course seeks to compare different regions of the globe to gain insight on various political and sociological trends or ideas.

Why did you first try rowing?

My mother read ‘The Boys in the Boat’ and signed me up for a learn to row -without asking me- and then continued signing me up, again, without asking me.

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

Winning the US Summer National Championships

Do you have a favourite Boat Race? Which one and why?

The 2022 Boat Race, because I got to see the best Blue boat in history win the race (go dark blue).

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

It would not be a dream come true, because I never could have dreamed to be in the position I am now to have the chance to compete in the boat race.
