About Megan:

Why did you choose MPhil in Management?

This course is for students right out of undergrad who want to pursue business but did not study business previously. I would like to go into business because one of my goals is to start my own company so with this degree I will gain the technical skills to enter the professional world.

Why did you first try rowing?

I was a competitive swimmer from the age of 6 to 16. I loved swimming and dreamed of swimming in the Olympics. However, after ten years I was ready for a change and my high school had a rowing team so I decided to stop swimming and start rowing. It was the best decision I have ever made!

Who introduced you to the sport of rowing?

Kate Spelman at I started rowing at my high school, Newton Country Day School

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

Stroking the USA U23 Women’s 8+ to a gold medal at the U23 World Rowing Championships

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

Winning the Boat Race would be so special because I want to help keep Cambridge as the dominating force.
