Why did you choose Medicine?

Medicine at Oxford is a 6 year degree split into two groups of 3 years. The main reason I’m studying it is that I want to be a doctor! It also gives us a lot of interesting research opportunities and Oxford has some of the best hospitals in the UK.

Why did you first try rowing?

Just wanted to try a new sport

Simon Croucher and Alice Denyer at School, Dulwich College

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

Winning Torpids Headship, qualifying for Henley 2023 with a college crew

Do you have a favourite Boat Race? Which one and why?

2022 Dark Blue Men winning – got to watch it in person and only dark blue victory whilst I’ve been at Oxford

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

The best end to rowing at Oxford I could have hoped for.
