Why did you choose MSc Water Science, Policy & Management?

Having worked for two years in water infrastructure innovation and biogas renewable energy in London, this course is the only Masters globally which focusses on my interests and planned future career path.

Who introduced you to the sport of rowing?

Greg Atkin at Magdalen College Oxford School

Where else have you rowed?

ULBC, Thames Rowing Club

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

– Winning Henley Royal back to back 2022 & 2023- Wargrave Challenge Cup, breaking all three records 2022
– GB u23 Europeans team 4-, achieving bronze
– Previously a national swimmer, silver and biathlon national champ

Do you have a favourite Boat Race? Which one and why?

My dad getting disqualified (Isis 1990) at the Bandstand which in our house we call the first finish line, after beating the Cambridge 1v three weeks earlier at the Head of the River. Or maybe Hugh Laurie (Cambridge) sinking in the Boat Race.

What would winning The Boat Race mean to you?

Getting past the bandstand means I can tease my dad and all his best mates forever (1990 Isis race disqualified at the bandstand).
It’s also been a life goal of mine and an incredibly special project I am aiming to be a part of.
