Open from 1100-1700, the Fulham Fan Zone is one of the best places to watch The Boat Race and is devoted to fun for all the family, for FREE!​

Fulham Pier is London’s exciting new riverside destination. There will be something for everyone. Fans are welcome to take their food and drink out into the Grade II listed Bishops Park to enjoy the al-fresco seating and enjoy the race on the giant screen.

If you’re an Oxford alumnus or alumna, make sure you pop by the Oxford University stand where you can pick up an Oxford flag and pin badge, ready to support the Dark Blue crews. 

The Fulham Fan Zone is located near to the start of The Boat Race.

Take your pick from the variety of vendors on offer beneath the Riverside Stand at Fulham Pier.

Food

You can bring a picnic to eat in Bishops Park or visit one of the many outlets within Fulham Pier serving delicious food for consumption there or to take away.

You can bring picnics, including alcohol, into Bishops Park. There will be a few picnic tables available but you are welcome to bring foldable chairs too.

Please note that you cannot consume your own food or drinks within Fulham Pier.

There will be random bag searches operating throughout the Fan Zone.

The Fan Zone is wheelchair accessible. There will be accessible toilets at both Fulham FC and in Bishops Park. There will be no specific space marked out for wheelchair viewing, however the screen will be positioned in order for all spectators to easily view.

The entire Fulham Fan Zone (including Fulham Pier) is dog friendly.

Yes. There are no restrictions to smoking in Bishops Park but there is no smoking within the Fulham Pier area.

We do ask that you are respectful to others and avoid smoking in busy areas and near any stalls/bars/vendors.

Yes. There are no limitations to filming and photography. Make sure to tag the official Boat Race handles on all platforms and use #TheBoatRace

Travel to Fulham Fan Park

Transport links
Nearest buses 74, 220, 430 (alight on Fulham Palace Road at Bishops Park Road bus stop).

Five minutes walk to the park along Bishops Avenue. 85, 93, 265 (alight at or near Putney Bridge).

Walk to the park through the subway under the bridge or down the steps from the bridge.

Underground
Putney Bridge Underground station (District Line) is approximately 8 minutes walk. Follow the path along the river and through the subway under Putney Bridge into Bishops Park.

National Rail
Putney station (15 minutes walk). On departing the station turn right, walk down Putney High Street, across Putney Bridge. Take the steps down to the park.
