Sammamish Rowing Association in Washington State, USA - Molly and Lisa.
What inspires you about sport?
Seeing people push their limits and boundaries of what is possible every single day, especially my teammates and especially women, who are not always encouraged to push themselves or seen as tough - seeing women work extremely hard at sport is inspiring to me.
Explain your earliest memory of The Boat Race
Asking coaches - what is THE [most important] coxswain's race? And learning it is The Boat Race and wanting to be a part of that.
Do you relish in hours in the gym and miles in the dark, or do you live for race days?
Both. Gym and miles in the dark make up race day results. So gym and miles matter most, but race day is much more fun.
What's the secret to managing elite-level sport with studying at one of the top universities in the world?
Lists and calendars and taking deep breaths.
