Where did you learn to row and who was your first coach?
Falcon Rowing Club in Oxford, Christy Job.
What inspires you about sport?
I think sport, and especially rowing, has a great way of letting you find focus. It's nice to have a few hours every day where you can set everything else aside and just try and move the boat well.
Explain your earliest memory of The Boat Race
I can't remember not watching the Boat Race every year, but I can very clearly recall watching Jasper Parish cut the corner in 2023.
Do you relish in hours in the gym and miles in the dark, or do you live for race days?
There's nothing quite like lining up for some side-by-side, but at the end of the day 95% of the time is mileage and land training so you have to figure out a way of enjoying that too!
What's the secret to managing elite-level sport with studying at one of the top universities in the world?
