Probably hearing about it from family members around the time I knew I was admitted to Cambridge.
Do you relish in hours in the gym and miles in the dark, or do you live for race days?
Hours in the gym for sure.
What's the secret to managing elite-level sport with studying at one of the top universities in the world?
In my experience, make sure your academics are in check first, and then start trialling. Make good use of the breaks between seasons, because the exhaustion at this level of exercise really limits productivity, especially for lightweights.
