Why did you choose PhD History?

I find history incredibly interesting – I love the element of discovery, weighing up the evidence and drawing your own conclusions.

Why did you first try rowing?

Because I was in Cambridge and I thought it was a very Cambridge thing to do!

Who introduced you to the sport of rowing?

Abby Child and Cally (can’t remember her second name but can find it out!) at Lucy Cavendish College – but only did 2 terms before COVID, then didn’t row again until April 2022 at Gonville and Caius

Where else have you rowed?

Lucy Cav, Caius, CUBC

What are your proudest rowing achievements?

Being part of the winning squad for Queens’ Ergs, getting blades with Caius in Mays 2022, making the CUBC spare pair in 2023 and representing ‘CUBC in Blondie’ in 2023 fixtures.

Do you have a favourite Boat Race? Which one and why?

2023 because I was there at the finish!
