#FixtureSeries 2 OUBC vs Leander
OUBC has back to back races against notorious competitor Leander in the second FixtureSeries this weekend, Sunday 6th March. This is the first of two races on the Championship Course for OUBC 'A' this year and second for OUBC 'B'. With less than a month remaining, both crews are looking for a strong performance this weekend and hope to enhance their team strength over the next few weeks.
The Championship Course runs from Putney to Mortlake in a spectacular 4.17 mile race with advantages and disadvantage at each turn for the Surrey (South) and Middlesex (North) sides.
OUBC 'B' v Leander 'B' will start at 14:27 GMT
UMPIRE will be Clare Harvey
OUBC 'A' v Leander 'A' will start at 14:47 GMT
UMPIRE will be Matt Pinsent
Head Coach Sean Bowden reflected on the upcoming fixtures saying "we are very much looking forward to racing Leander this weekend. The crews have been training hard and Leander should provide us with good competition in our preparations for the 3rd April."
