This weekend will see both Women’s Clubs conduct their own Trial Eights tests.
Much of this year is devoted to creating the systems and approaches that will define the new setup for both Women’s Boat Club. As the foundation of training is put in place, the Women are also developing the skills needed to make them race ready athletes.
Trial Eights bring the focus squarely on the Boat Race and preparations for the women’s race in 2015.This is an opportunity for both sides to take a mid-season look at the top sixteen athletes and two coxswains, execute a race rehearsal and to assess the logistics of a race weekend.
On Saturday 15th December, Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club will race at Dorney at 11am. The Crews will be:
