The two crews for The Veteran’s Boat Race have been announced.
The Veteran’s Boat Race will take place on Saturday 30th March, the day before The 2013 BNY Mellon Boat Race, at 2.55pm. They will race from the Putney University Stone to Furnivall Steps.

There is one more Olympian between the crews than last year’s Race and the same number as will feature in The Boat Race on Sunday, with three in the Cambridge crew and one in the Oxford crew. Last year Cambridge had the advantage of one more Olympian and won by 3 lengths. In 2011 Oxford boated two Olympic gold medallists and an Olympic bronze medallist and won by 4 lengths.
