After careful monitoring of the weather and river conditions, it has been decided that the CUWBC vs Nereus fixture will go ahead today.
For the coin toss, Larkin Sayre, President CUWBC, called and lost with Nereus choosing the Surrey station.
The 2 crews will take the water ready to race at 4pm. They will do 3 pieces in total: the start to mile post, Harrods to Chiswick Eyot and finally Chiswick Pier to the Finish.
The Nereus student rowing club is one of the largest student clubs in the world and has numerous examples of athletes representing The Netherlands at World Championship and Olympic regattas.
This is the first official fixture for CUWBC in 2020 and the crew line up is as follows:
