Two special ‘Boat Race in the Park’ events featuring big screens, food villages, beer tents and merchandising stands are being staged in Bishop’s Park, Fulham and Furnivall Gardens, Hammersmith on Race day.

The events, in association with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, will run from 12noon until 6pm and will include full BBC 1 coverage of the Race on the large screens.

Beer stands from Sharp’s Brewery, the Official Beer Partner of The Boat Race, will supply alcohol and soft drinks, and will be accompanied by a range food stalls and merchandising stands at both parks.

Bishop’s Park, where the start of the Race can be seen from the Thames Path, will also feature family fun and sports activities, including children’s rides and inflatables, face painting and interactive rowing taster sessions.

Furnivall Gardens and Bishop’s Park are both situated alongside the Race’s Tideway course, making them the perfect locations to watch the event.
