Personal bio:

Stephan has already enjoyed a very successful international rowing career. Competing for Denmark he won an Olympic Gold at the 2004 Athens Games in the Danish Lightweight four. He began rowing at school back in 1993; he decided to come to Oxford to not only achieve in rowing but also academically. Stephan was named Denmark’s Sportsman of the Year in 2004. He also has a twin brother who began rowing four years ago who is now also trying out for the Danish National team. Stephan hopes to prove that you can be a lightweight rower and still be selected for the Blue Boat.
