Personal bio:
Justin was born in Greenwich, USA, and lived there for eight years before
moving to England. This is his third year at Balliol College but due to
strong academic commitments this is his first year of trialling. He began
rowing at his Prep School in London where his teacher, a former England
junior selector, got him involved. He attended St Paul’s School in London
where he was in the 1st VIII in 2002 – 2003. In 2002 he reached the final
of the Princess Elizabeth Cup at Henley Royal Regatta. He was part of the
coxless four in the 2002 Coupe de la Jeunesse in Portugal. He also competed
in the England junior eight at the Home International held in Cork in 2003
and last year he was part of the Balliol College 1st VIII. Although he
doesn’t compete in any other sports he is musically talented, singing in
the choir and Grade seven on the flute. His ambition is to make the team
and after he graduates he would like to do a post-graduate course in the
USA.
