Personal bio:

Part of the Isis crew in 2005. Andrew began rowing at Brown and was a silver medallist in his freshman four in the IRA Regatta (national collegiate championships). He was eventually co-captain at Brown and stroked the junior Varsity boat in 2004. While Andrew has no family ties to rowing, it seemed like the right thing to do while studying at an Ivy League university. Coming to Oxford, where even the air is infused with antiquity, is fantastic for his studies.
