Part of the Polish squad from 1999-2004 and competed in the World Junior and U23 Championships. Moved to Germany in 2003 to study at Hanover University and won the national sprint title. A member of the 2007 Blue boat. Over the summer he climbed the highest peak of Siberia, Mount Belukha, with two other students.
