Began rowing at the age of 10, following in the tradition of his grandfather. Rowed in the winning Isis boat in 2008. He has competed in the Junior and U23 World’s in fours as well as the Coupe de la Jeunesse. Martin supports Leinster Rugby Club and follows Gaelic Football.
