Began rowing at Oxford, but comes from a sailing family, as both parents are professional sailors. A former National U21 Sailing Champion, he was selected for the Olympic transition squad. Will carry his grandfather’s signet ring with him on the boat. Cycled from Southampton to Glastonbury to attend the 2008 festival.
