From a long line of rowers, he rowed for the USA in the 2008 Senior World Championships coxed pair to take ninth place. Took fifth in the U23 men’s eight in 2006, plus bronze in the 2006 and fourth spot in the 2007 IRA National Championships. His grandfather and great-grandfather rowed at Harvard and his father rowed at University of Pennsylvania.
