An Australian national who graduated in Economics and Psychology from Harvard University, now studying Management Research. He initially began rowing through a talent ID scheme. In 2005 he became the American National Champion in the Men’s Eight. He won the Eastern Sprints Championships three times in the same discipline and came 1st at the World Indoor Rowing Championships Collegiate Division. Toby was awarded the ‘All Ivy-Academic Athlete of the Year’ 2004 and also the ‘New South Wales Blues Sportsman of the Year’ in 2002/2003. He hopes to compete in the Men’s Single for Australia at the 2009 World Championships
