A Science & Medicine of Athletic Performance student, he completed a
B.A. in Cognitive Science at Yale University and is now applying for
Medical School. Twice a participant in the Varsity Race against Harvard, he
coxed the second Varsity crew that beat Harvard in 2005. Dane also coxed
the US Four that narrowly missed bronze finishing fourth at the 2006 World
Championships in Eton. Competed at both the Eastern Sprints and the IRA
National Championships. He hopes to represent the USA and qualify for the
Olympics. At school he ran for the cross-country team in addition to
coxing. Dane has more recently taken up polo.
