Born and bred in Oxford, Ben completed a BEng in Material Science and
Management before furthering his studies with an M.Sc. at Oxford. 2006
brought rowing success for Ben in the shape of a bronze medal in the
coxless pair at the World Under-23 Championships and a silver in the World
University Championships in the Men’s Eight. 2006 also saw him win
the Henley Royal Regatta Prince Albert Challenge Cup. More recently in
2007, he came 11th in the U23 World Championships in the Single Sculls. He
is a keen golfer.
