Henry is midway through a three-year degree Philosophy and Theology at
Regent’s Park, Oxford. He was born in Jordan and has lived in Dubai,
Portugal and Saudi Arabia, as his family moved around in connection with
his father’s job with the British Council. Henry took up rowing five
years ago at Eton College and rowed in the Eton first VIII in 2004 and
2005. He stroked the GB coxless four that won a bronze medal with the 2005
Junior World Championships in Germany. Also won gold and silver with the GB
coxed four at the 2004 Coupe de la Jeunesse in Italy. He also enjoys
swimming, scuba diving, football and rugby. Henry’s father studied at
Emmanuel College, Cambridge.
