Pembroke College first eight in the 2006 Summer Eights and in a composite
Pembroke-Christ Church boat at Henley. Chris was a member of the Oxford
University Boat Club development squad and is the first member of his
family to row, although he comes from a sporting family, with his mother
sailing to a high level, and his father plays rugby for Bath Academy. Chris
originally converted to rowing from rugby in search of a different athletic
challenge.
