Studying for a Masters in the Sciences and Medicine of Athletic
Performance. Began rowing at school at The Lawrence School, New Jersey,
USA. Joined Brown University, Providence RI, and was part of the University
Varsity Crew for three years. In 2002 he came 2nd in the Varsity Eight
Eastern Sprints Regatta. Won the intermediate and senior pair events in the
2003 US Rowing Nationals and finished second (in the coxed four and coxless
four). Also that year he came fifth in the men’s eight at the Head of the
Charles Regatta. During 2004, Terence gained All-Ivy Honors at Brown
University. In 2005, before he moved to Oxford, he came fifth with the
Varsity Eight at the Eastern Sprints and was part of the 2006 Isis Crew.
Back in the USA Terence enjoyed participating in other sports such as
wrestling, football and competitive mountain biking. Over the past three
summers has worked in the pit at the New York Mercantile Exchange in the
crude oil and natural gas sector.
