Studying a DPhil in Numerical Analysis with a focus on fluid dynamics.
Originally from Australia. Took up rowing at school and continued whilst at
the University of Western Australia. Competed in the National Championships
in 2004 and rowed whilst on an exchange with the University of Texas at
Austin in 2003 during which time he raced at the Head of the Charles
Regatta. Rowed for Balliol College in 2005/6 before trialling for OUBC in
2006/7. Back home, as a junior, played competitive Australian Rules
Football and competed for the North Cottesloe Surf Lifesaving Club in surf
boat rowing in 2004.
