Lucas is spending a year at Keble College studying for an MSc in Management
Research. A former pupil at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, Lucas has
been rowing on the Tideway regularly since taking up the sport as a
14-year-old. Won gold and silver for GB at the 2002 Coupe de la Jeunesse
and stroked the GB eight that finished 10th at the 2005 World U23
Championships in Amsterdam – a crew that also included this year’s Dark
Blue President Robin Ejsmond-Frey. Captained the University of London Boat
Club last year and reached the final of the Prince Albert Challenge Cup for
coxed fours at the 2006 Henley Royal Regatta.
