Now studying a Diploma in Legal Studies after graduating from Harvard with a BA in history. At Harvard, Brodie achieved both All Ivy and Academic All Ivy honours. Started rowing, aged 16, at school because a family friend encouraged him and Brodie is a founder member of the Olympia Area Rowing club. In 2005 he won the IRA Men’s Varsity Eight and competed for the USA in the World U23 Championships. Was selected into the American men’s coxed four at the 2006 World Championships at Eton. Has joint nationality because his father, David, is British and a Sandhurst graduate.
