Now in his final year at Oxford where he is studying geography and writing
a dissertation on public attitudes and perception towards wind energy in
the UK. Coxed Isis in the 2005 and 2006 Boat Races. A member of the Great
Britain U23 team who, in 2005 coxed the U23 eight and, in 2006, the coxed
four. As a junior he coxed the Great Britain eight to gold at the 2003
World Junior Championships. A year later he coxed the four to a silver
medal in the same championships. Coxed the first eight at Abingdon School
for five years and won the “Triple” in 2002: the National Schools
Regatta, the Schools Head of the River and the Princess Elizabeth Cup at
Henley Royal Regatta.
