Raced in the winning 2004 Isis crew. Reached the final of the mens student coxed four at Henley Royal Regatta (2004). World junior bronze medallist (eight) in 2001 in Duisburg along with Tom James who was in last years (2003) beaten Cambridge crew and the world senior bronze medal eight at the World Championships in Milan as well as David Livingston, from Oxfords winning 2003 boat. Was captain of boats at St Pauls.
