Personal bio:
Describes the 2003 Blue Boat victory as his greatest acheivement. Was
member of the beaten Oxford Blue Boat in 2004 and the victorious Isis crew
in 2002. Finalist (6th) at the 2002 world U23 champs in the coxed four.
Henley finalist in 2001 (Princess Elizabeth), Ladies Plate semi-finalist
(2002) and Princess Elizabeth semi-finalist (2000). Winner of the 2001
National Schools Champs (eight). Rowed Magdalen College to head of the
river in summer eights for first time in 50 years. Started rowing in 1996
at Radley where he was coached by Donald Legget, one of the current
Cambridge coaching team. Captain of boats at Radley. Uncle and grandfather
both attended Oxford. Was a Great Britain senior triallist in 2003 in a
pair with Matt Smith, the 2003 Oxford President, and rowed at Henley (2003)
in the Visitors Cup. Has finals this year.
