Personal bio:
Started rowing at the University of the West of England in Bristol where he
soon got into the first eight and became the Club’s President in
2002/2003. Rowed at Henley in 2002 and 2003. Competed at the 2003 World U23
champs and was fourth in the coxed four. Was a world cup semi-finalist in
the men’s pair with David Livingston in Poznan, Poland, in 2004 as part
of the GB senior squad. Joined the Royal Navy at 18 after “A” Levels.
Is sponsored by the Royal Navy at University after Dartmouth Naval College
and a year of service during which he undertook officer training. A
sub-lieutenant who is the first in his family to take up rowing.
