This year’s Oxford President and member of thewinning Blue Boat in 2003. Began rowing because his brother (Ben) was already involved. Family moved from Australia to the USA when Sam was 15. Will do general medicine once finishes at Oxford. Coach Chris Clarke in the USA came to Oxford and encouraged Sam to do the same. Former Eastern Sprints champion (eight) and four-times national team champion in the USA. Competed in the coxless four at Henley in 2003.
