Coxed the winning Blue Boat in 2003, Isis in 2002 and the Oxford women’s Blue Boat in 2000. Gained his B.Phil in 2003 and now undertaking a D.Phil. Participated in the Oxford Boat Race squad’s summer cycling trip in 2003 and was second amongst the rowers, beaten only by Nick Walter. Acer means “fierce, keen and eager” in Latin.
