Was member of the victorious Isis crew in 2002. Finalist (6th) at the 2002
world U23 champs in the coxed four. Henley finalist in 2001 (Princess
Elizabeth), Ladies’ Plate semi-finalist (2002) and Princess Elizabeth
semi-finalist (2000). Winner of the 2001 National Schools Champs (eight).
Started rowing in 1996 at Radley where he was coached by Donald Legget, one
of the current Cambridge coaching team. Captain of boats at Radley. Uncle
and grandfather both attended Oxford. Was a Great Britain senior triallist
in 2003 in a pair with Matt Smith, the 2003 Oxford President, and rowed at
Henley (2003) in the Visitors’ Cup. Has finals this year.
