Marco is a Londoner who is studying Engineering. Having learnt to row at
school, he went on to reach the semi-finals of the Princess Elizabeth
Challenge Cup in the Junior Men’s Eight at Henley and soon after secured
a place on the GBR junior squad from the ages of 16-18. After A-levels,
Marco took a gap year during which he competed in the 2006 U23 World
Championships in Belgium, finishing in 6th place in the Men’s Four. In
his first year at Cambridge, he rowed in the Spare Pair for CUBC and
stroked the Cambridge Four in the Prince Albert Cup at Henley.
