Helen is in her final year of a History of Art degree. She has been rowing
since the age of 13, learning at school, where previous Boat Race winner
Vian Sharif was a Headgirl. On joining Cambridge, Helen was approached by
the CULRC and subsequently coxed them at the 2006 Henley Boat Races. She
went on to cox Goldie at the Henley Royal Regatta in 2007. Helen is now
back to full health after a boat accident left her with post concussion
syndrome for 9 months. Both Helen’s parents studied at Oxford.
