Doug is studying for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Cambridge.
There will be an element of family rivalry for Doug, whose father and
grandfather both rowed at Trinity College, Oxford. A former school under-14
high jump champion, Doug was a silver medallist with the GB lightweight
quadruple sculls at the 2005 U23 World Rowing Championships in the
Netherlands. He was also a member of the GB lightweight men’s four
finishing sixth at the 2006 U23 World Rowing Championships in Belgium. Doug
was President of the Cambridge University Lightweight Rowing Club in 2004.
