David, a philosophy student, took up rowing at King’s School,
Chester, inspired by established national rowers like Tom James, this
year¹s Cambridge President. Has previously competed for GB winning the GB
v France match and achieving bronze in the Coupe de la Jeunesse. David, a
former 1500m runner, was part of the Cambridge Development squad from the
summer of 2006 onwards and was a Prince Albert Cup (coxed four)
semi-finalist at Henley Royal Regatta.. His sister, Kate, rowed in the 2002
Cambridge Lightweight women¹s crew.
