David is currently studying for his Master of Laws (LL.M.), having nearly completed a PhD at Freiburg University. He has already passed the German Bar Exam and was in the top 2% of students in the country. Throughout his studies at Passau University, King’s College London and Freiburg University his interests have focused mainly on corporate law and capital markets. David began rowing when studying law at King’s College London in a novice eight. Previously he enjoyed playing golf and tennis as well as sailing, where he is holder of various licences. David began rowing again in 2005 and trained hard over the summer of 2006 to trial for the Cambridge squad. He finds the mix of studying and rowing appealing.
