Won with Goldie in 2003 and with the Cambridge Blue Boat in 2004 thus
denying Oxford a hat-trick of recent victories. Shannon is the Cambridge
President for the 2004/5 season. Stroked the crew which were finalists in
the Visitors Challenge at Henley 2003. Scottish Oarsman of the Year, 2001.
Was national pairs champion in 2001 and second in the coxed four at the
Fours Head, also 2001. Enjoys sailing, windsurfing, skiing. A keen sailor
who spent five weeks in 2003 sailing around the Baltic as well as running
with the bulls in Pamplona. He didnt tell his mum this last bit until it
was all over. His father rowed with Cambridge coach Donald Leggett at
Radley College.
