A 2002 triallist who was injured and dropped out early in the season. Took up rowing at Cambridge. Always wanted to row, after watching the Boat Race on television, but had no opportunities to do so at school. Instead competed at school in cross-country. Was a 1500m county schools cup winner and a club swimmer.
