Stroked the winning Goldie boat in 2003. Cambridge Vice-President (2003).
Henley Finalist (Visitors’ Cup) 2003. Formerly at Yale where he majored
in Economics and Politcial Science, captained the rowing squad and rowed
three times in the Harvard v Yale Race (lost all three). Was a US trialist.
Persuaded into rowing by his maths teacher at school. Played baseball and
skied at club level. In the summer of 2003 cycled 1200kms along the first
half of the Vuelta de Espana course. Winner of the Pretty Polly Long Legs
Award at the 2003 May Ball.
