Won with Goldie in 2003. Stroked the winning Visitors Challenge Crew at Henley 2003. Scottish Oarsman of the Year, 2001. Was national pairs champion in 2001 and second in the coxed four at the Fours Head, also 2001. Enjoys sailing, windsurfing and skiing. A keen sailor who spent five weeks last summer (2003) sailing around the Baltic as well as running with the bulls in Pamplona. He didn’t tell his mum this last bit until it was all over.
