Rowing since age 14, represented Australia at Australian National Surf life saving championship 95-98. His father studied at Cambridge and played cricket in the early 70’s

Surfing, snowboarding and pearl diving. Has been a goal of his to study and row for Cambridge since 1990 when he travelled around Europe in his gap year and visited Cambridge for two days and saw the Blue’s squad training, read all the history of the Boat Race which is older than his home state
